I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, right in the heart of Ubud. Everything was close by and easily accessible. The staff were amazing, always friendly and helpful. The breakfast provided was excellent, with a great variety of options. The hotel facilities were top-notch, especially the swimming pool which was very relaxing. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable. There was also parking available for those with cars.
Nothing to fault.

Great rooms, excellent staff, reasonable price
4-6 am driving bass music from the local village drinking den, totally spoiled the otherwise peaceful time

I had a wonderful stay at a private villa in the heart of Ubud. The villa was spacious and had a beautiful private pool, perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. The onsite spa provided excellent treatments, leaving me feeling rejuvenated. The food at the villa was delicious and the breakfast portions were satisfying. The natural surroundings created a peaceful and serene ambience. Although the location was a bit secluded, the free shuttle service made it convenient to explore the city center. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring that my needs were met. I highly recommend this villa for a tranquil and enjoyable stay in Ubud.

The staff (Adi, Komang, Suri, etc.) were absolutely incredible. They went out of their way to ensure that our experience was top notch. I commend their hospitality; it is unparalleled. The accommodations were very well designed and comfortable. We were upgraded to the Nirwana Villa. That is definitely the best one. It is the largest and on the end, so also the most quiet. The free shuttle was very convenient. Komang took us anywhere we wanted and even made recommendations for dinner (we ate at Indus). We stocked up on supplies at the Bintang Market but the reality is that the mini bar prices (and laundry prices for that matter) are very competitive. Breakfast every day was served promptly at your requested time. We chose the Indonesian breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed it. We will definitely stay at Kampung Villas again.
There is nothing that we did not like but I think that other travelers need to understand that like most of Ubud, these villas are in the countryside. The neighbors have livestock and their roosters crow at 5:30 in the morning. There are also bugs and reptiles including spiders, ants, geckos and frogs, that live with you. We found none of it bothersome but be warned that you share the space with those creatures. The only constructive criticism that I would have would be to periodically thoroughly clean the villas. Dust, spider webs and dead bugs can accumulate under the furniture and in the corners. Cleaning those spaces is an easy fix and compliments the cleanliness in the more common areas.

Booked a two-night stay at Kampung Ubud Villa to celebrate a special occasion. Despite initial disappointment with the allocated villa, the staff quickly organized a room move to a great villa that was similar to the online photos. The villa and swimming pool were of top standard, with crystal clear water and a relaxing atmosphere. Meals, including a delicious free breakfast, were delivered to our room at our chosen time. The villa also offered a convenient free shuttle service to and from Ubud Central. The spacious outdoor bathroom, comfy bed, and lovely staff made our stay enjoyable. Highly recommend this hotel.
100% Recommend this hotel.

Nice villa. Spacious and inviting (at first appearance), with friendly and helpful staff
Unfortunately our visit was completely spoiled by the presence of beasts. Ants and bugs in the bathroom, flies in the bedroom, lizards on the ceiling, and cobwebs around all the curtains. I tried to put it down to the 'Ubud' experience, but frankly, at the going room rate this sort of thing is simply unacceptable, given the quality of accomodation elsewhere. We were woken up at 5am every morning by the neighbour's cockerels. On our second night we returned to the room to find what looked like rat droppings on the bedding. They changed the sheets and explained that they were lizard droppings and we shouldn't worry because they are good at catching mosquitoes. Well, the mossies were absent, but any chance at sleep was prevented by the barking dogs from another neighbour. This property is very remote, although not rural ( it's in a housing estate), and backs up against a rubbish tip. It's also too far from Ubud centre to be practical (although they do provide drop off service). Pool not heated. Villa itself is nice and staff are friendly, but it is not enough to redeem this place - do yourself a favour, stay away!

The villa was fantastic, plenty of space and very comfortable- we were upgraded from the smallest villa to the biggest at no extra cost. The swimming pool was a good size and the outside area was a beautiful and very relaxing environment. The shuttle service to Ubud was free. The driver was very obliging and went out of his way to help us out- thank you very much!! Generally a nice place to stay but regrettably let down by small things.
Overall, we had a great stay but a few things need tightening up to improve the experience. 1.The breakfast is very average with no fresh juice (cordial instead) and no milk for your coffee or tea. Not good enough for the prices. 2. Service generally needs to be better- breakfast arrived 30 mins early one morning without warning. No apology but simply told that we had to have it earlier because the other guests were having it at our preferred time. This is very poor and makes you feel like other guests are more important. An apology or warning would have made this less of a problem. 3.Basics like toilet roll weren't replaced. Crockery in the villa was dirty. I asked for a restaurant to be booked for us and when we arrived for dinner the restaurant had no record of any booking. This is very sloppy service and so simple to sort out. 4. I also resent being asked to review a hotel online by one member of staff before I have even stayed 10 minutes and then again by the same man before I left- careful what you ask for! This is bad practice, reviews are at the discretion of the customer not at the request of the hotel staff. I feel I am generally pretty easy to please as a hotel/villa guest but by the end I was quite irritated by these relatively small issues.

Located in a tranquil rural area, this villa complex offers spacious and clean villas. the staff is friendly and accommodating, providing a free shuttle service to the city center. the comfortable bed ensures a good night's sleep, and the private pool offers a refreshing dip. Guests can enjoy breakfast at their own convenience, and the surroundings provide beautiful views of rice paddy fields and organic gardens. Honeymooners and families seeking privacy will find this villa complex a perfect choice.
The kitchen in the villa is not fully functional, lacking pots and cutlery.

The private pool. The helpful staff were all brilliant.
Some of the equipment could be a little better quality. E.g. Kettle, door handle, toilet seat.

I had a great stay at Kampung Ubud Villa. The villa itself was beautiful and matched the photos online. The room service was excellent, with fresh towels provided daily. The pool was clean and the view from the villa was stunning. The staff were fantastic, especially Putu, who went above and beyond to make my stay special. The private outdoor area, especially the pool, was so relaxing. The staff even surprised me with a 50th birthday cake, which was a lovely touch.
The hotel breakfast menu could be improved.

the hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making sure that my villa was beautifully set up for a birthday celebration. the private house with a spacious swimming pool felt like my own villa, and the bathroom was a treat with an indoor bathtub and an open-air rain shower. the hotel also provided a free shuttle into the town, making it easy to explore. I will definitely be returning for a longer stay.
Nothing could have been better! 😊
